Our Approach

We believe that human flourishing begins with stable housing.

We partner with case managers, non-profit organizations, treatment centers and local governments to house the unhoused. We provide high quality housing in a co-living, shared environment. Our residents include individuals facing housing insecurity, veterans, seniors, domestic violence victims, refugees, and those recovering from addiction. We offer short-term transitional housing and permanent placement. Our homes are located throughout the Chicagoland area.

Quality Security & Affordability

We provide our residents with a clean, safe and affordable place to live. Our all-inclusive homes are rented on a per room and per bed basis to individuals in need. Homes are professionally managed, professionally cleaned and staffed by on-site house managers. Properties are conveniently located near grocery stores and public transportation. Our homes are fully furnished and feature security cameras and gated entry.

People First

At Home First Housing we put the needs of our residents first. We understand that every resident has a unique backstory, and every person has intrinsic value. We work closely with case managers and third party service providers to ensure that their clients’ needs are met. We remove the common barriers to entry enabling us to rapidly house at-risk individuals.
